This Noren is inspired by the inauguration ceremony of the wrestler champion Shiranui Dakuemon in the ring, the dohyo-iri. He reached the Yokozuna rank, the highest that can reach a sumo wrestler.
The Yokozuna is assisted by his Tachimochi assistant, or sword bearer. The champion wears his heavy waist Kesho-Mawashi belt, symbol of his new rank.
